Golden Triangle Gun Club is proud to participate in the Mantis #TrainTheWorld campaign throughout the entire month of September 2026.
This worldwide training initiative has a simple goal: get shooters training and help strengthen the shooting community at the same time.
You Train. Mantis Donates.
During September, shooters around the world are working toward a goal of logging 10 million training shots.
For every training shot recorded, Mantis will contribute one cent toward grants for shooting, training, and community organizations — up to $100,000.
And we are pleased to announce that Golden Triangle Gun Club has been selected as one of the 2026 #TrainTheWorld grant recipients!
That means the training you do this month can benefit you personally while also helping support GTGC and other organizations working to promote firearms safety, education, marksmanship, and responsible participation in the shooting sports.
Every Shot Counts.
How GTGC Members Can Participate
Participation is easy.
If you use a MantisX Pistol/Rifle system, Mantis Laser Academy, Mantis Shotgun, or other participating Mantis training application, simply train as you normally would during September.
Your qualifying training shots recorded through the Mantis applications are automatically counted toward the #TrainTheWorld total.
That includes the dry-practice sessions many of our members are already doing at home with their MantisX systems.
Don't Own a Mantis System? You Can Still Participate!
You do not have to own a Mantis training system to help.
Dry-fire and live-fire training sessions can also be entered manually at:
https://traintheworld.org
So whether you are practicing at home, training at Golden Triangle Gun Club, attending a firearms class, shooting a match, or simply spending some productive time developing your marksmanship skills, log your training and help us reach the goal.
Why Dry Practice Matters
Quality dry practice is one of the easiest and most economical ways to improve firearms skills.
A properly conducted dry-practice program can help develop and reinforce:
- Grip
- Trigger control
- Sight alignment and sight management
- Presentation from the ready position
- Drawing from the holster
- Reloading and firearm manipulation
- Consistency
- Confidence
- Safe firearm-handling habits
Systems such as MantisX add immediate feedback and measurable performance data to dry practice, helping shooters identify areas that need improvement and track their progress over time.
But remember: productive practice is more important than simply accumulating repetitions.
Train safely. Train deliberately. Train with a purpose.
Share Your Training — #TrainTheWorld
We also encourage GTGC members to share their September training on social media.
When posting photos, videos, targets, Mantis results, match participation, or other training activities, include:
#TrainTheWorld
To be eligible for inclusion on the Train the World social media wall:
- Your account and post must be public.
- Include #TrainTheWorld in the original post or caption.
- Do not place the hashtag only in a comment.
- Do not put spaces in the hashtag.
- Hashtags are not case sensitive.
And feel free to let everyone know you're training as a member of Golden Triangle Gun Club!
Let's Help Train the World
At GTGC, we have always believed that responsible firearm ownership involves more than simply owning a firearm.
Knowledge, training, practice, and safe gun handling matter.
#TrainTheWorld gives us an opportunity to encourage those principles while joining shooters throughout the country and around the world in supporting organizations committed to firearms education and the shooting sports.
Best of all, Golden Triangle Gun Club is one of those organizations.
So throughout September:
Dry practice.
Go to the range.
Take a class.
Shoot a match.
Introduce someone new to the shooting sports.
Log your training.
Your training makes you a better shooter — and this September, it can help make our shooting community stronger too.
Every shot counts.
