Entries without payment will not be squadded. Entries must be post dated by April 20 or received via email by April 23. Late entries will be subject to a $10 late fee.

Cancellations after Date April 27 may NOT be refunded. Match cancellations due to inclement weather will be refunded.

Eligibility:
Participants must be TSRA members.

Capacity: The maximum range capacity is 52 (4 relays). If the matches fill past capacity, post marks will be used to determine squadding, and a standby list will be developed.

CMP Liability Release: A release must be on file with the CMP. If you need to complete a release form, you can find one at http://thecmp.org/wp-content/uploads/affidavit.pdf.

Events:

April 28-         GTGC Service Rifle Match, 800-Point CMP Cup Match (Cup Event Rule 5.5)
April 29-         Rifle EIC (Leg) Match (CMP Highpower Rifle Rule 8.3)
Fees:
4 man x 50 shot team match ($10 per person paid at match)
80 shot agg match $15.00 (adult) / $10.00 (junior)
50 shot agg  EIC (LEG) Match $20.00 (adult) / $10.00 (junior)
Rules:  Current CMP rules will govern.
           
Competitors are responsible for being aware of the Match Program and all safety regulations contained in the CMP rulebook

Time of Firing: Check-in opens at 0700 and closes at 0730. Pits will be sealed at 0745. Firing will begin at 0800 each day.

Squadding: The 800-point CMP Cup Match will be pre-squadded with entry. Team and EIC matches will be squadded on the firing line. Pre-registration for the EIC matches is preferred, but day-of entries will also be accepted.

Pit Service: Competitors will be required to perform scoring and pit duties. Paid pullers will not be provided. Paid pullers are allowed during the 4-man team and 800 matches and are the responsibility of the competitor.. Paid pullers are not allowed during the rifle EIC.
Classifications: CMP classifications, or NRA if no CMP,  will be used in all matches. Unclassified competitors will compete in the Master Class.
Sighting Shots: 2 per stage - in 4-man team and 800 shot matches.  None in the 500 point LEG match.

Course of fire: (The course / order of fire may vary due to heat, rain, or other atmospheric conditions, i.e.).
       50 shot 4-man team
• Match 1- 10 record-standing, slow fire, 200 yards. SR target.
• Match 2- 10 record- sitting, rapid fire, 200 yards, SR target.
• Match 3- 10 record-prone rapid fire, 300 yards, SR-3 target.
• Match 4 -20 record-prone, slow fire, 600 yards, MR-1 target
80 shot aggregate
• Match 1- 20 record-standing, slow fire, 200 yards. SR target.
• Match 2- 20 record- sitting, rapid fire, 200 yards, SR target.
• Match 3- 20 record-prone rapid fire, 300 yards, SR-3 target.
• Match 4 -20 record-prone, slow fire, 600 yards, MR-1 target.
EIC 50 shot aggregate
• Match 1- 10 record-standing, slow fire, 200 yards. SR target.
• Match 2- 10 record- sitting, rapid fire, 200 yards, SR target.
• Match 3- 10 record-prone rapid fire, 300 yards, SR-3 target.
• Match 4 -20 record-prone, slow fire, 600 yards, MR-1 target.
Targets:  200 yd-SR, 300 yd-SR-3, 600 yd MR1

Equipment: Service Rifle, Match Rifle
Triggers will be weighed prior to the EIC Match in order to receive a scorecard

Ammunition: Must be furnished by the competitor. No tracers or AP are allowed. No calibers larger than .35. All 5.56 / .223 must be 62-grain or heavier at the 600 yard-line. Any defective or unsafe ammunition will be removed from the firing line.
Challenges: A $2 Challenge Fee will be charged for lost challenges. The challenge period will be 30 minutes after the completion of
each match. All awards and scores are tentative until publication of the official match results. The Statistics Officer will resolve
all protests.

Awards:
• Place awards will be made by rifle type. If there are not five entries within a particular rifle type, then that rifle type will be deleted and individuals in that rifle type will be moved to another. As an example, Match Rifle could be combined with Service Rifle to form a category.
• Awards will also be made within classifications provided that there are a minimum of five competitors within that classification. Classes will be combined upward as required except the High Master class.
• Competitors winning a place award will not receive a class award in the same match.
• The number of awards is determined by the number in the class. Second, third, fourth place, etc., awards will be given based on one award for each five (5) competitors, i.e., second 6-10; third 11-15, etc.
• Special awards for High Senior, High Junior, and High Woman will be recognized only if there are three (3) or more in that category.
CMP EIC matches: Awards will be determined and awarded by the CMP pending the review of match results.

Highlighted Safety Notes – competitor is responsible for ALL published CMP rules, rules posted in the pits, and GTGC range-specific rules as follows:
• The use of an empty chamber indicator (ECI) is always required even while the rifle is in the case. Only during a preparation period or actual firing may the ECI be removed from the rifle.
• Magazines and loading blocks may only be inserted in the rifle during the preparation period or live firing.
• Level-loading is required. Rifles must be pointed at the impact berm or lower while closing the bolt.
• Hearing protection, eye protection, and a billed hat are required in the pits.
• Coaching is allowed for new shooters during the preparation and sighting periods.
• Cell phone use is prohibited when firing, scoring, or performing pit duties. Use of cell phones to keep time is permitted only when “cellular data” is turned off, i.e., the phone is in airplane mode.
• All brass must be policed.
• CMP Rule 3.6.2 Eye and Hearing Protection: All competitors and competition officials, including Scorers or Verifiers, are required to wear eye and hearing protection when on shooting range firing lines during highpower rifle firing. See rule book for further specifics on eye protection dimensions and proper wear.
