Don’t forget to login to Goldentrianglegunclub.com and pay your membership dues. Anyone who has not paid by September 30th will no longer have a membership to the Club and will have to join at the higher rate for new members, pay the initiation fee, and reattend Orientation for letting their membership lapse.

Gate code changes on 10/1. You will need to log in to your account after that to get your new membership card. 

DO NOT DRIVE ON THE 100/200 RIFLE RANGE. It is two wet and deep holes and tire ruts are the result of significant traffic from members driving down to place targets at the 200-yard target line. This is unacceptable. The Club paid to have these holes and ruts repaired last year. And now the Club will have to pay to repair it again.

We have put up caution tape and sign warning members and guests that No Vehicles are Allowed on the range. Anyone caught violating this warning will find their membership immediately suspended, with action forwarded to the Board for revocation of their membership. The offenders may also face restitution for the cost of repairs. The entire membership should not have to pay for the actions of a few.

Whew, we got through our first auto renewal. There were some hiccups but they have been fixed, permanently, by our credit card processor for next year. 

If you did not have auto renew set up (many of you thought you did but either elected to turn it off or had me turn it off ) I have now manually emailed you an invoice. If you didn’t get the email, you can still just simply go to our webpage and log into your account to make payment. 

When I say login to your account, you must go to our webpage, not your app or not wild apricot directly. The app is a convenience to be able to look at the event page and to quickly access your gate card. We do not take payments on an app because apps are not secure, our webpage is secure.

You have until September 30 to make payments or your membership will be deleted and you’ll have to re-join the Gun club as a new member, at the higher rate. I apologize if that sounds harsh but we do have to have some type of protocol.

We are actively in renewals. Those on auto pay should have seen their card processed last night. Unfortunately, our credit card company decided to limit how many transactions they allowed to go through. They were given advanced notice but there is a glitch on their part. Those auto payments should come out today and tomorrow. If you still do not have yours go through within the next 72 hours please email gtgctx@gmail.com.

Answers to Your Questions from Golden Triangle Gun Club

How can I pay for my renewal? 

-Log in to your account at Goldentrianglegunclub.com and pay your invoice.

-Pay by email invoice. Click the link in the email and follow the prompts. 

-Auto renewal will automatically deduct on September 1st. If you pay it early, it will not charge you a second time. 

-Mail in a check to PO BOX 5305 BMT TX 77726. This is the last year we are taking checks. Do not send it to the club, it will be returned as we do not get mail there. 

-Pay in person at the scheduled events that were emailed out, posted on the online news page, posted to Facebook and added to the Event page. If you are on auto renewal, you paid online, or you intend to pay online you do not need to attend. This is for those who need help in person.

How do I get my new gate card? 

-On October 1st, log into your account online and you can get your new card. We will not mail them out, email them out or print them for you. You can get it from your account online or on the app. 

How do I update my credit card on file? 

-Next to the last four digits of your card number, click on update credit card. 

How do I turn off auto renewal? 

-After you make your online payment, go back to your profile and click on stop where you are the last four digits of your card. 

You can still pay online next year with out being on auto renewal through the email invoice or by logging into your profile. Those on auto renewal will not receive an invoice. 

Please note, the app is a convenience for you to be able to look at your profile, get your gate card and see the events. Anything that needs to be edited or updated needs to be done online. Many of you have asked how to do it on the app and that is not an option, you will have to go to the website to make changes to your credit card. This is a security measure as the online profile has several security features were apps tend to not have those.

Also, for those who have not logged in online and are trying to use the app, it will not work for you until you have logged in online at least one time and then you can log into the app afterwards.

Golden Triangle Gun Club Bylaws were in need of an update to be in compliance with our current practices.  The Board met on August 17th to review and approve the proposed Bylaws. The approved Bylaws have been posted on the website and you can see them by clicking HERE.

Club volunteers will be making repairs to the interior Club roads between the Silhouette Range and the 600 Rifle Range beginning Thursday 8/12, and continuing through Friday of the following week.  The intent is to fix the potholes and then place a layer of crushed limestone on top and grade the road to a smoother surface.

Work will also include repairing the approach to the bridge over the drainage ditch later next week.  During that time the Rifle and Shotgun ranges will be closed and inaccessible with barricades placed on the bridge.  DO NOT CROSS THE BRIDGE DURING THIS TIME!!!! Otherwise you will destroy the concrete work and be liable for damages and repairs!  No Exceptions!

Please expect some delays getting to the pistol and rifle ranges during this period.  Obey Range Safety Officers and any safety signs.  These volunteers are working to improve the Club for you!

Thursday, August 5th the power will be cut to gun range for the entire day.  Entergy contract crews will be replacing power poles and wires along Erie Street from Cardinal Drive all the way to the end of the street near the DCP Energy Station.  

In addition, there is pipeline construction taking place nearby and traveling to and from the range will be difficult and slow with many work vehicles lining and sometimes blocking the road.

Weather permitting, C & R Industrial Services will be performing range maintenance Friday and Monday.  This will include mowing of the ranges, as well as spray herbicide along ditches and berms inside the range facilities.  This work has been delayed by the weather and wet condition of the range for some time.  

Please give the work crews the right-of-way on all roads and ranges so that they can complete their work in a timely manner and help decrease the amount of time ranges are shut down during this period.
