MEMBERS ONLY CLUB: Open to the Public for Training & Matches
The Club held its annual member's meeting Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Wesley Methodist Church in Beaumont. The meeting was preceded with a free dinner of various deli sandwiches, chips, desserts, and drinks.
Members and guests enjoyed the food and fellowship with other members. It was a great informational meeting with a number of great door prizes, including two Sig pistols, and recognition to several members who have gone above and beyond to help make things happen at the club.
Attendees heard about what the Club has accomplished this past year, current information on financial and membership numbers, and what is in store for the future. The Club is currently still purchasing additional property needed to build a new shotgun range consisting of a Trap Range and a Five-stand Sporting Clays range. Plans also include a 1,000-yd rifle range. More to come on this subject in the near future,.....
Shout out to GTGC High Power Jr Rifle Team and 4H shooting sports for helping out.

Dear Members,
We are excited to invite you to the Golden Triangle Gun Club Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 2nd at Wesley Methodist Church in Beaumont. Doors will open at 6:00 pm for members who have questions or need help with membership. We will also have a self serve buffet set up at that time for you to help yourself to dinner, dessert and fellowship. Our meeting will begin at 7pm so don't be late. We will start giving out prizes at that time and you don't want to miss our awesome giveaways.
This is a great opportunity to come together as a club for an evening of:
Door Prizes, Raffles & Fellowship
In addition, we will also hold a vote on a proposed bylaws change. At the last board meeting a vote was made to deactivate inactive programs. ( Cowboy Action, Military Rifle, and the Women’s Program ) To reflect this, we are proposing to remove the Director of Women’s Programs from the bylaws. If the program returns in the future, the Director and Assistant Director would be appointed by the Board of Directors, as with all other programs. This ensures both our members and board have a voice in the activities our club offers. Members not present to vote at the meeting will be able to vote online. An email will be sent out with this information soon.
We hope you will join us for this important meeting as we celebrate our successes, look ahead to new opportunities, and enjoy fellowship with fellow members.

The Beaumont area experienced between 4-7 inches of snow between the evening of Jan. 20th to morning hours of Jan. 21st. Volunteers ensured that the range was prepared for the freezing temperatures and snow prior to the winter storm arriving. Here are some photos of the range covered in snow, a very rare and ununusal occurrence:
Dedicated members of The Golden Triangle Gun Club, Howard and Debbie Maxwell, have been recognized for their unwavering dedication and commitment to 4H Shooting Sports. Their journey began over 30 years ago when they first started working with the 4H youth, and since then, they have consistently stood the test of time, remaining actively involved in the program.
Howard and Debbie have poured countless hours into this initiative, traveling many miles to support and nurture a remarkable community of young shooters. Their passion and perseverance have not only enriched the lives of the youth but have also contributed significantly to the growth and success of the 4H Shooting Sports program. Under the guidance of this dedicated duo, participants engage in disciplines such as air-rifle, air-pistol, and .22 rifle shooting. Their commitment extends beyond these areas, as they played a vital role in launching the 4H archery program, providing essential supplies and support to the leaders who have helped the program flourish into its current state. Their efforts have significantly contributed to the growth and success of shooting sports within the community.
GTGC proudly serves as the home range for Jefferson County 4H shooting sports, with Howard leading as the head coach and Debbie managing their various activities. The dedication of volunteers like the Maxwells is crucial for the success of 4H and various other youth programs. Their commitment helps foster strong leadership within initiatives that empower the youth. It is through these programs that today's young people are equipped to uphold and advocate for the principles of the 2nd Amendment, ensuring a bright future for these rights. The Golden Triangle Gun Club takes pride in supporting such vital leadership and community engagement.
Today’s YOUTH hold the future of the 2nd Amendment !
